Ragnarok X Next Generation Equipment Guide

Equipment in Ragnarok X Next Generation is really important. So which equipment is good to have as F2P Player? Find them out here in this guide!
ragnarok x next generation equipment guide

Equipment in Ragnarok X Next Generation is really important. Because without proper equipment, you will lose a lot of damage potential to do better in grind or MVP/Mini-Boss hunting. MMORPG Mobile Game is all about spending your time and resources effectively. You need to keep update your equipment so you won't die easily and deal enough damage to carry your own. Anyway, there are 4 types of equipment in ROX: white, blue, purple, and yellow grade equipment.

So which one is the best? Absolutely yellow grade but they are hard to get and also very EXPENSIVE. Those heavily P2W players always bid over 100.000 diamonds for that. Just convert it into real money, how much is that? This is why MVP hunting is important, if you got the yellow grade equipment, you can sell them for easy diamonds. P2W players will buy them for sure.

Okay, let's start with white-grade equipment first.

WHITE-GRADE EQUIPMENT

ragnarok x next generation white grade equipment

This equipment is so easy to get, you just need to complete your instance. Normal for Armor, and Hard for Weapon and Accessory. You will get your first equipment from GTB instance for level 25 equipment. Each town will have its own instance. For example, Izlude has Drake/Corsair Instance, Morroc has Osiris, etc. And each instance will drop unique accessories. Weapon and Armor have the same bonus but stronger since their level is increased.

White-grade equipment is good for you who just want to play this game casually. But for those who want to play this game regularly, sorry to say this but you should abandon this equipment except for the accessory. Why white-grade equipment is bad? Because in the long run, this equipment will lose to blue or purple-grade equipment, not to mention yellow-grade.

ragnarok x next generation white grade equipment tier

But of course, you can still upgrade this equipment by up its tier. Each town has its own NPC for that. For level 25, the NPC is located in Prontera. Please do open your map to know their locations. All you need is your raw equipment from the instance and some smelt items. For tier II, you need tier I equipment as material. They are cheap and you need to smelt them by yourself, you can't buy them at the market.

Here some tips for you. Do not increase the tier for your Armor and Weapon. Like I had mentioned above, forget about this equipment in the long run. We will use blue-grade equipment later which so much better. Only increase the tier of accessory or talisman that you really need. For example, my Knight needs crit so Matyr Ring is good to have. Matyr Ring is a level 70 white-grade equipment.

BLUE-GRADE EQUIPMENT

ragnarok x next generation blue grade equipment

Oh yes, this is the best set for us, F2P player. I suggest you craft this as soon as possible and continue to upgrade them further until the end-game which is above level 70. Then we will have to switch to purple-grade equipment which is Valkyrie Set. So get your blue armor and weapon, you need to spend your time a bit for GTB instance. You can try to buy the rest to speed up your progress,

Blue-grade also has its accessory and talisman. And they are so good in the end-game. Why? Because of  % stats. Remember we will always upgrade and refine our equipment. Your weapon upgrades and refinement are more than enough for ASPD and Haste. You need more raw stats and damage bonus to make your attack even stronger. This is how blue accessory and talisman will give awesome benefits later.

You can craft blue accessories and talismans, but don't use them for now. Your white-grade accessory and talisman still better because your weapon's upgrades and refinements are not high enough, so you will need an extra ASPD or Haste bonus instead of raw stats. Remember you are allowed to upgrade but don't refine too much. You can't transfer refinement from white to blue equipment! It must be the same grade. I warned you already.

ragnarok x next generation blue equipment upgrade

We can always upgrade the level of this blue equipment. For level 40, please visit Izlude NPC for that. You will need level 30 crafted equipment as materials, smelt items, and also Drake's materials. Always try to craft your weapon first then your armor. "The best offense is the best defense" - some wannabe pro gamer. You can try to spend your daily instance until you can't get Valkyrie Coins from GTB instance then it is time to switch to Drake Instance. Just buy the rest of Bug Horn. Yeah, I am sure you lacked it too!

PURPLE-GRADE EQUIPMENT

ragnarok x next generation valkyrie exchange

Purple-grade equipment is only available for armor only. And this is our end-game armor and the upgrade materials are insane! To get this please visit Valkyrie Exchange & Upgrade NPC in Prontera. You can exchange your Valkyrie Coins for this set. So where to get these Valkyrie Coins? From daily instance. Slowly craft this but don't use this yet. Keep on using your blue-grade equipment for now.

And yes we can upgrade them as well. Still in the same NPC, just tap on Upgrade. It will show the needed materials. It is the same with blue equipment, you need raw purple equipment as material. Only 2 tier, but the bonus is insane. Those P2W players in the TW server are using this right now as their end-game armor. So always remember to finish your daily. This set will make you tanky!

ragnarok x next generation pvp equipment

Another purple piece of equipment is from the guild exchange called Murphy's set and it is exclusive for PVP. I strongly against you getting this. Unless you are a sultan aka cash cow. Only good for PVP but terrible for PVE, meanwhile Valkyrie set is good for both PVP and PVE. You need guild coins for that, just keep on finish your daily guild orders for that.

YELLOW-GRADE EQUIPMENT

ragnarok x next generation yellow grade equipment

The best grade in this game and also the most expensive equipment. Imagine when you had to spend 100.000 diamonds just for this equipment LMAO. Where to get this? From MVP of course. Here is something you need to know. You don't have to become the first hitter or the last hitter, just deal enough damages and you will have a chance to get this. But the higher your damages are, the better chance is. So party up for higher damages.

That is why always make sure you participate in this MVP hunt 3 times per day. Remember don't die before the MVP or you won't get the rewards. As a F2P player, just hit it once every few seconds. And stay away from it, you can try your luck to last hit it when it is dying. But remember, dying MVP will have high damage and sometimes you will become the target then died.

If you manage to get the equipment, just sell them for diamonds. Those P2W players will bid over your yellow-grade equipment. Why sell it? Because the upgrade materials are ridiculous and will take MONTHS to farm. You want to compete against P2W players using your only yellow-grade equipment? Forget it. Get some diamonds and spend them on Battle Pass or something. Easy life, no need to spend real money. Remember, a game this like usually abandoned after 2 or 3 months.

Slowly craft your blue set, you can use this set forever if you want. But in the end-game consider switching for Valkyrie Set. Remember you can trade your Crystal for Diamonds, save some to buy MVP weapons and accessories. Or you can just use blue accessories and talisman, they are the poor version of MVP items. And there is one thing, the equipment has set effect if you use the same type. Here is the bonus that you might need to look into. Only white and blue equipment got this set effect.
